It’s here. The summer of liberation. With a new sense of freedom, I notice how powerful music can be when I let go and listen. I am drawn to artists - Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin - who lived freely, playing with no set plan, just losing themselves in the moment. These artists and their work keep me company while whipping around Mulholland Drive late at night and early mornings designing in the studio, working on my next collection. Later this summer, I’ll be driving cross country from LA to Montauk and I don’t need much-this playlist, my Alexa dress, a handful of vintage tees and a Rumi Pullover on the backseat.
